23. Attach Power Adapter to Frame Assembly
Note: Do not crimp the Cables.
24. Using the Hand Grips, Fully Extend each of the Ropes and Remove any
Twists from Them
Note: The Ropes on the Bowex
®
HVT machine may have become twisted during shipment or
assembly. Fully pull out each Rope, one at a time, and examine it. Remove any twists in the Ropes while gradu-
ally allowing them to retract.
Do not release the Hand Grips until the Hand Grip Stops are ush with the pulley and the ropes
are fully retracted. The rope will be under tension and will retract itself into the Frame Assembly.
Be sure not to allow any ngers or hands to be pinched. Releasing the Hand Grips before they
are completely retracted and ush with the pulley may cause damage to the machine or injury to
the user or bystanders.
