Calibrate the Printer
Auto Calibration
By default, the printer automatically calibrates on power up, when the printhead is closed.
During auto calibration, the printer determines the label length and sensor settings.
The results of the auto calibration are stored in the printer’s memory and are retained even if
printer power is removed. These parameters remain in effect until the next calibration is
performed.
Note • If the control panel settings for MEDIA POWER UP are set to LENGTH, NO
MOTION, or FEED, the printer starts printing without auto calibrating. See Select Media
Power-Up Option on page 56.
