5. Empty pipette
a. Hold collecting vessel at an angle.
Place the pipette tip against the inner
wall and press the pipetting lever
down.
For pipettes with waiting time (im-
print e.g., 'Ex + 5 s'):
As soon as the meniscus in the
pipette comes to a standstill, observe
the waiting time indicated on the
pipette (here 5 s).
Pull up the tip of the pipette a few
millimeters along the wall of the ves-
sel.
NOTICE
When using blow-out pipettes manufactured by others
As soon as the meniscus in the pipette tip has come to a standstill, press
the small bellows once. Pull up the tip of the pipette a few millimeters
along the wall of the vessel.
