5 Cleaning
Occasionally clean the housing parts with a damp cloth. When used prop-
erly, the device is maintenance-free.
5.1 Autoclaving
The device must be carefully cleaned before it is autoclaved. Clean the
housing parts with a damp cloth. The device can be autoclaved at 121°C
(250°F), 2 bar, and a holding time of at least 15 minutes according to DIN
EN 285.
5.2 Replace filter and clean adapter
WARNING
Risk of contamination and infection
Wear protective gloves and goggles.
NOTICE
Only necessary if a pipette has been overfilled or the suction capacity is
impaired.

a. Pull out pipette.
b. Unscrew the adapter housing.
c. Remove defective membrane filter.
d. Press the adapter upwards out of the
adapter housing.
