e. For cleaning, rinse the adapter care-
fully with a spray bottle filled with a
suitable cleaning liquid (e.g., water).
Then blow out and dry.
f. First press the new membrane filter
into the adapter with the thicker con-
nection facing downwards (the thin-
ner, conical side facing upwards).
g. Unscrew the adapter by hand.
h. The complete device, including mem-
brane filter, can be autoclaved at
121°C (2bar) according to DIN
EN285.
i. Unscrew the suction bellows for auto-
claving.
NOTICE
Not every membrane filter is suitable!
Use only original accessories. The device
comes standard with filters of 3 µm pore
width. The membrane filter can be auto-
claved up to five times at 121°C. The ef-
fectiveness of autoclaving must be veri-
fied by the user.
