(LH/RH)(2),thecamplatesarerotatedaswell.
Ontheotherside,thenalpinion(3)isxedtothedifferentialsidegearwithsplines,rotatingtogether,andits
othersideisconnectedtotheboss(4)withsplines.Thisbossisxedto2discs(5)withsplinesasoneunit.
Also,thepressureplates(6)areinstalledinbetweenthefrictiondiscsandthesepressureplatesarexedto
therearaxlehousing.
Therefore,when the brakepedal is depressed,the brakeleveris movedtorotatethecamplate.Then,the
steel ball (7)installed inthe grooveon the slant of thecam plate pushes the cam plate inward, producing
drivingforce.Thisdrivingforcecompressesthefrictiondiscsandplates.Asthepressureplatesarexedby
therearaxlehousing,theystoprotating.
Asaresult,thenalpinionxedtothebossstopsrotatingaswell,leadingtostopofthevehicle.
