Clean the rollers, reduce the number of pages, remove foreign objects, ensure your document is acceptable, cancel Remote Setup, remove paper from the ADF, and securely close the reverse roller cover.

  If your Brother scanner displays 'Document Jam/ Too Long', clear the document jam. Then: * Adjust the Paper Guides to fit the width of the document. If Scan Size is set to Auto and you are scanning a document that contains multiple page sizes, insert narrow pages straight and as close to the centre of the machine as possible. If you are not feeding the document straight, use Continuous Scanning. * Confirm the settings. * Clean the pick-up roller and reverse roller because paper dust may have accumulated on their surface.
