1) Fold the first side CIS flat cable as shown in the illustration below.

2) Attach the two pieces of 12 mm x 12 mm double-sided tape on the document scanner unit
at positions shown in the illustration below. (If the old double-sided tape remains attached,
replace it with a new one.)
