The stripe

Loosen
the stripe adjusting plate clamp
screw
.
Use
slide
calipers to
adjust
the
stripe adjusting plate so that
the
length (at a and a')
of
the right and
lef
t parts
of
the stitch
cam
will
become
even.
Then
tighten
the
stripe adjusting plate c
lamp
screw.
Note:
The length difference at the stitch
cam
(bet"'"n
a
and
a')
should not
exceed
0.35
mm.
Hint:
When

e stitch dial is set at 5, the length at
the
stitch
cam
:
32.5
mm
.
