HOW TO ADJUST THE COLOUR CHANGER

I. The yam does not get into the yam feeder or the separation pl ate
can not catch any yam, though the changer button is depressed.
2. The yam gets into the yam feeder or the separation plate catches
the yam, th o ugh the ch anger button is not depreaed.

1.1 Pos ition adjustment
look at the colour changer from side and cheek if th ere is a
separstion plate just in th e center between the y am guide of
chan ger button d ep ressed and not depressed.

2.1 Position adju stment
2.1.1 Place the connected carri age at the left end of the needle
bed.
Depress the No . 4 changer butto n, and move the canla ge
to right slowly until the separati on plate separates the yarns
com pletely.
2.1 .2 loo k at the colour changer from side and check If th ere is
a separation plate just in the middle belwl:en the knitting
yam and resting y• ms . ( See Fig. 57)
lf no t, loosen the right screw at the back of chanser ann, and
move the changer forw ard& or backward& to set the proper
position.

2.2 Height adjustm ent
