RIBBING ATTACHMENT KR- 830
• Wh•n you att ach the ribber to the lcni tter model KH-820 or
KH -830, you can attach the ribber with ou t any adjustment. but if
it is nec:es wy , pleue follow this IJWiual .

There are th.ru adjusting positions, and once you do these adjust-
ments, you are not required to ad )UJ t when you reattach the
ribber.
I. Meet ins of needles on both beda.
The plain needles and purl needles are directly opposite to each
other. If not, adjust the position.
1.1 Set the h alf pitch le ver on P.
1 .2 Set the racldng indicator on No .5.
1 .3 Loosen two scr eM (-) which are beside the mark D on th e
left
end of the KR needle bed.
1. 4 By turning th e grip handle, adjust to get the proper position
(ICK and KR needles meet) u shown in the figu re.
1.5 Mter adjusting. fasten two screws tightly.

Set
the half pitch lever on H, and bring fo.,..trd 10 •ach needles
on both enc!J of KH needle bed. O!eck the clelll'Ulce bet'llleen the
back of the KH needle and gate pegs of KR bed.
J.l - I. 7 m/m is conect.
2. 1 By pushing down the levers on both bracket, let down the
ri bber one step. At the back of the ribber, y ou will find out
the nuts. Looeen these nuts by the spanner. Then, return the
ribber to original position.
2.2 By moving both height adjusters up or down, ob tain the pro-
per help.t ( 1.1 - 1. 7 m/m).
