Printer Cannot Print over the Network
Printer Is Not Found on the Network Even after Successful Installation 14
Your Wi-Fi access point/router is in
stealth mode (not broadcasting the
SSID)
You should enter the correct SSID name during the installation or when
using the Printer Setting Tool.
Check the SSID name in the instructions supplied with your Wi-Fi access
point/router and reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings.
Your printer is not connected
correctly to the network
For PJ-773, check the Wi-Fi indicator on the printer.
: The network is correctly connected.
(flashes once every three seconds): The network is not connected
correctly, and the Wi-Fi settings must be reconfigured.
I have checked and tried all of the
above, but still cannot complete the
Wi-Fi settings
Turn the printer off, and then turn it on again. Then try and configure the Wi-Fi
settings again.
Problem Solution
You are using security software See Security Software Problems on page 143.
Your printer is not assigned with an
available IP address
Confirm the IP address and the Subnet Mask.
Verify that both the IP addresses and Subnet Masks of your computer and
your printer are correct and located on the same network.
For more information on how to verify the IP address and the Subnet Mask,
ask the network administrator.
Confirm your IP address, Subnet Mask and other network settings using the
Printer Setting Tool.
See Changing the Printer Settings on page 45.
Your previous printing job failed If the failed printing job is still in your computer's print queue, delete it.
When using Windows
®

, [Devices and Printers] and select your printer from [Printers and
Faxes]. Double-click your printer's icon, and then choose [Cancel All
Documents] in the [Printer] menu.
Your printer is not connected
correctly to the network
For PJ-773, check the Wi-Fi indicator on the printer.

correctly, and the Wi-Fi settings must be reconfigured.
I have checked and tried all of the
above, but my printer does not print
Uninstall the printer driver and the software, and then reinstall them.
