The spring should rest on the flag gear. Using a small slotted
screwdriver, press spring down onto the post (Figure 4.3).
Install the flag gear spring as shown in Figure 4.2.

RESETTING THE FLAG GEAR
Note: Reference Figures 4.1A and 4.1B to ensure the
flag gear tab is in the reset location. Print error
failures could result if the gear is not set properly.
Note: The short arm of the spring needs to be on the left
side of the cartridge post as shown in Figure 4.3
