"Max." The maximum SPL which has occured since the instrument
was last reset is displayed.
"Leq" The Leq value computed since the instrument was last complete-
ly reset is displayed. Leq has to be measured with TIME WEIGHTING
set to "Fast" and DETECTOR set to "RMS". Use of other settings will
provoke the display of a non-resettable t.
"SEL" The SEL value computed since the instrument was last com-
pletely reset is displayed. SEL has to be measured with TIME WEIGH-
TING set to "Fast" and DETECTOR set to "RMS". Use of other set-
tings will provoke the display of a non-resettable t.
The values displayed are according to the TIME WEIGHTING, the
FREQUENCY WEIGHTING and the DETECTOR mode selected.
Three position slide switch with the following functions:
"Imp." The "I" (impulse) time weighting in accordance with IEC 651 is
applied.
"Fast" The "F" (fast) time weighting in accordance with IEC 651 is
applied.
"Slow" The "S" (slow) time weighting in accordance with IEC 651 is
applied.
Two position slide switch with the following functions:
"Peak" The detector gives the Peak value of the measured sound
pressure level.
"RMS" The detector gives the exponential time weighted RMS value
of the measured sound pressure level.
Potentiometer to calibrate the instrument sensitivity. Sensitivity is in-
creased when turning clockwise.
2,5 mm mini-jack socket accepting Plug JP 0213 and Cable AO 0173
for connection of recording equipment. It produces rectified and aver-
aged DC output voltage of 50 mV /dB proportional to th~ weighted
SPL. Maximum output signal is 3,65 V; 3 V corresponding to full scale
deflection, and 0 V corresponding to bottom scale. Output impedance
< 100 Q; short circuit protected.
2,5 mm mini-jack socket accepting Plug JP 0213 and Cable AO 0173
for connection of recording equipment. It produces an AC output pro-
portional to the weighted SPL. Maximum output signal is 4,5 V Pk;
1 VRMs corresponding to full scale deflection. Output impedance 120 Q;
short circuit protected.

PLAY switch with a resolution of 0,1 dB. It is updated once a second.
