ponds to the value chosen with the FSD. The display is updated 64
times per second.

The following warning indications are also given:
"i": Indicates the displayed value may be incorrect due to one of the
following reasons:
a. An overload is occurring. The bottom part of the arrow will di-
sappear at the same time as the overload disappears. The top
part will disappear when RESET "All" is selected.
b. Improper settings on the instrument: e.g. Leq measurement with
"Peak" DETECTOR mode. The arrow will be reset when selecting
a correct setting.
c. Batteries are too low to insure proper operation of the instru-
ment. The arrow cannot be reset and the "BAT" sign is flashing
at the same time.
""""": Indicates that an overload has occurred. This sign will disappear
when the instrument is "Reset All".
"BAT": When flashing alone indicates batteries are low, but instru-
ment can still be used for approximately 112 hour (with alkaline batte-
