This protocol details the results of the factory acceptance test procedure for Bruker AXS dif-
fraction systems in Bragg-Brentano reflection geometry. The factory acceptance test proce-
dure consists in  full-profile measurements of the  certified NIST standard  reference material
SRM1976c.  Details  of  this  procedure  are  outlined  in  the  Instrument  Verification  Booklet,
which is part of the instrument documentation.
The present verification routine covers the functionality of all relevant components of the dif-
fraction system under investigation.
