7. Set up a scan and save data:
a. If you have already not done so, Create a new project folder (→ Project, →new, input
information accordingly. Use the working directory C:\Frames\”year”\”month”\”Sample Name”
(This automatically saves subsequent data collections to the above file path))
b. Make sure that the X-ray generator is at the operating power (→Collect, →Goniometer,
→Generator)
Set to 40kV and 40 mA
c. Set up a single scan (→ Collect, →Scan, →Singlerun)
