1.5 Special Safety Instructions
WARNING — LASERRADIATION
When all covers in place, users are protected from exposure to laser
light (Class I Laser Product).Operating the instrument with opened
covers can expose anyone in the area of the instrument to harmful
laser light, which may result in blindness. Protective glasses must
always be worn when the covers are open and the instrument is
switched on.
WARNING — DANGEROFCHEMICALBURNS
Depending on the use to which the instrument has
been put, the cleaning process may expose the user
to harmful chemicals. Wear appropriate eye
protection and gloves. Read the Material Safety Data
Sheets (MSDS) available from the material
suppliers.
WARNING — DANGEROFELECTRICSHOCK
When the protective covers are removed from the instrument and
the instrument is connected to the electrical supply, there is a danger
of electric shock. Take appropriate precautions when working on an
unguarded instrument.
