Action Option Explanation
[Gradient hold] Function The gradient is held at the current
solvent ratio.
The gradient continues to the origi-
nal end-point.
[Auto gradient hold] Function The gradient will be held every time
the signal goes over the set thresh-
old.
6.1.7 Run panel
The run panel shows available functions according to the current operation.
Symbol Description Meaning
[Start] Is used to start the run or re-start the
actual operation if the system has
been paused.
[Stop] Is used to terminate the operation of
the system.
[Pause] Is used to stop the actual operation.
If the system is paused due to an er-
ror, this button will change to yellow.
[Advance] Is used to advance to the next step
during equilibration.
