Vapor
Vapor sensor settings are set
too sensitive
u Change the vapor limits to a
lower sensitivity. See

vapor sensor sensitivity",

Leaks u Check for any leaks in the
solvent flow paths.
Solvent vapors in work area u Solvent vapors in the work
area may set on the alarm.
Use the instrument in a
hood or well ventilated area
with no open solvents near
the system.
Vapor sensor no sig-
nal
Vapor sensor is not connected
or is defect
u Check the cable to the vapor
sensor.
Instrument Alarm:
Watchdog
Timing/communication issue
in software
If in setup mode:
u Restart the instrument.
u
If in run mode:
u Press reset.
u Restart after the run is
finish.
Solvent Pressure Solvent pressure limit has
been exceeded
u Remove column.
u Replace with bypass.
u Determine if column is not
the source of blockage.
u If not column is the source
of blockage, then check all
fluidic lines.
