To drain the system take the following steps:
Close the CH flow and the CH return service valve.
Place hose on the draining tule.
Turn to drain the system.
2.1.2 Preparing the automatic air release valve
Open the protective cap on the automatic air release
valve one full turn (fig. 27).
Should the air purging operation cause the pressure
to drop below minimum, top up water.
2.1.3 Filling the hot water reservoir
Open the cold water inlet on the service valve.
Open the hot water valve until a full jet of water is
flowing.
2.1.4 Filling the syphon with water
Pull the hose from the condensate plate (fig. 28,
item1).
Fill the syphon with water.
Fit the hose to the condensate plate.
2.1.5 Checking for leaks
Disconnect the system from power supply.
Check all sections of gas pipework and connections
for signs of leaks before starting up system for the
first time.
If a leak is detected during tightness testing, use an
approved leak detector to check all connections for
possible escapes.
The product must be certified as a gas leak-testing
agent.
DO NOT allow the product to come into contact with
electrical wiring.
