Sound System 2-10
The inner and outer edges of a new
CD may have burrs. The burrs may
fall off in the CD drive, which may
cause track skipping or other troubles.
Rub the CD edges with the side of a
pen or pencil to remove the burrs.
Do not let any foreign matters enter
the CD drive.
Steering Wheel Control of
Sound System (if
equipped)
There are 3 buttons on the left of the
steering wheel hub for setting the
sound system. You can operate the
basic functions of the sound system
without getting your hands away from
the steering wheel.
Use volume buttons “+” and “-” to
adjust the volume. Press and hold a
volume button until you get the
desired volume level.
Use Mode button to change the
function mode. Press the button
repeatedly to switch between FM, AM,
CD playing (if a CD is loaded), MP3
playing (if .mp3 files are available
through the USB interface) and audio
playing (if an external player is
connected to the AUX interface).
The channel buttons “ ” and “ ∨∧
have the same functions as SEEK+
and SEEK-. When listening to radio,
press to search for the next radio
station with strong signal, press to
search for the previous radio station
with strong signal.
If you are playing a CD or files on a
USB device, press to skip to the
next track; press to restart the
current track; press twice to skip to
the previous track. The album name
and track number will be displayed on
the screen.
In AUX playing, the channel buttons
do not function.
