Which Coolant to Use
Using inappropriate coolant may
cause damage to the engine cooling
system.
Only use the coolants authorized by
BYD. Select the right type of coolant
suitable to the ambient temperature of
your region.
CAUTION
y Don’t add plain water to your
engine, otherwise the cooling
system may get damaged.
Contact a BYD authorized service
station for details.
Check Radiator & Condenser
If the radiator or condenser is very
dirty, or if you have any problem on
checking the radiator or condenser,
please have the vehicle serviced by a
BYD service station.
NOTICE
y Don't service the radiator or
condenser by yourself to prevent
damage to them.
Chassis
Check Power Steering Fluid
Check the power steering fluid level at
least once a year. To check the fluid
level, the vehicle must be on level
ground and the engine must be cold.
The fluid level must fall between the
UPPER LEVEL and LOWER LEVEL
marks on the reservoir. If the fluid
level is below the LOWER LEVEL,
add the specified power steering fluid
to the UPPER LEVEL.
