Keyless Entry & Start
System
Keyless entry & start system provides
the following functions:
y Wireless remote control (see
“Wireless Remote Control” in this
chapter for details)
y Push button starting (see “Start

y Steering lock (see “Steering Lock”
in this chapter for details)

Entry and Starting
The smart keys allow the driver to
unlock/lock side doors and start the
vehicle.
Entry – unlock/lock side doors of the
vehicle. See “Front Doors” in this
chapter for details.
Start – the driver can switch between
power modes and start the engine
with the smart keys in the vehicle.
See “Engine Starting” in this chapter
for details.
Steering Lock
When the doors are locked through
wireless remote control, microswitch
or mechanical key, the steering wheel
will be locked.
