Service Side Airbags
You must have your vehicle serviced
in the following cases:
y SRS side airbags and curtain
airbags inflated.
y The vehicle doors (shaded area in
the figure above) experienced a
side collision not severe enough to
trigger the airbags.
y The seat surface where the side
airbags are located (shaded area
in the figure above) has crack,
deep scratch or other damage.
y The trim of A-pillar, roof rail or
C-pillar where the curtain airbags
are located (shaded area in the
figure above) has crack, deep
scratch or other damage.
Airbag Warning Indicator
Under the control of an ECU which
features self-diagnostic capability, the
state of the SRS airbag system is
indicated by a warning indicator on
the instrument panel.
