3. Tighten the front tow hook with the
wheel nut wrench.
CAUTION
y The front tow hook must be
tightened firmly. If it gets loose in
moving, the towed vehicle may
come off and cause severe
personal injury or even death.
If You Cannot Shift
Automatic Transmission
Selector Lever
If you cannot shift the selector lever
out of P position even if the brake
pedal is pressed down, use the Shift
Lock button as follows:
1. Turn the ignition switch to ACC.
Firmly apply the parking brake.
2. Press down the Shift Lock button.
Shift the selector lever out of P
position.
3. Shift the selector lever to N
position.
4. Start the engine. For the sake of
safety, hold down the brake pedal
during the whole process.
If the procedure doesn’t work, have
the system checked by a BYD service
station as soon as possible.
