y After turning the Start button to ON,
the SRS warning indicator stays
on for 5 seconds and then goes off
for over 5 seconds, reminding the
SRS system is normal.
y If the SRS system has been
deactivated by a BYD service
station, the warning indicator still
goes through the above procedure,
but at this time the SRS system
cannot provide protection.
This warning indicator can display the
state of SRS ECU, crash sensors,
inflator, warning indicator, wiring and
power supply. (Refer to section
“Service Indicators and Warning
Buzzers” for details.)
NOTICE
The SRS system has fault if any of
the following occurs:
y The warning indicator doesn’t
turn on when Start button is at
ON.
y After turning Start button to ON,
the warning indicator doesn’t go
off within 5 seconds, or goes off
but turns on again.
y The warning indicator turns on
when Start button is at OFF or
ACC.
y The warning indicator stays on
or is flashing when the vehicle is
moving.
CAUTION
In case of any fault in the SRS
system, you must have your vehicle
serviced in a BYD service station.
Unrepaired fault in the SRS system
may result in failure of airbags in an
accident.
