8. Lower your vehicle
Lower the vehicle completely and
tighten the wheel nuts.
Rotate the jack handle anticlockwise
to lower the vehicle.
Please only use the wheel nut wrench
to tighten the nuts. Don’t use any
other tool or lever, like pipe or your
foot. Make sure the wrench is
securely engaged over the nut.
Tighten each nut slightly at a time in
the order shown in the figure above,
and repeat the process until all nuts
are firmly tightened.
CAUTION
y When lowering down the
vehicle, make sure all portions of
your body and all other persons
around will not be injured.
y After replacing the wheel, all
wheel nuts must be tightened
with a torque wrench as soon as
possible. Otherwise the nuts
may become loose and allow the
wheels to fall off, which may
cause a severe accident.
y Don’t attach a damaged plastic
wheel ornament to the wheel. It
may fall off while driving and
cause an accident.
9. Restore the flat tire
Fasten the flat tire to the trunk.
CAUTION
y Put the flat tire in place and
firmly fastened it. This reduces
the possibility of personal injury
in a collision or hard braking.
Remember that the wheel center
ornament must be firstly removed
from the opposite side.
Keep the wheel ornament properly.
Tighten the bolt so that its conical part
