(2) A paper clip is required for
calibration.
(3) Select open ground or a circular
road for the calibration. Identify
the directions of the east, west,
south and north, as shown in the
figure below.
2. Calibration procedure
(1) Start the engine. There is text
shown at the top right of the
interior rearview mirror, which can
be any one of east, south, west,
north, northwest, southwest,
northeast and southwest.
(2) Select the starting position. It can
be any one of east, south, west
and north.
(3) To enter the compass calibration
status, press OK button on the
rear side of the interior rearview
mirror using a paper clip.
“North” will be displayed in the mirror.
It will flash for two times and then
stop.
(4) Drive the vehicle for a complete
circle at low speed (less than 8
km/h) and stop at the starting
position with the engine running.
Don’t stop the engine before you
complete a circle clockwise or
anticlockwise.
