High beam indicator
This indicator is on when the high
beam lights are turned on.
Front fog light indicator
This indicator is on when the front fog
lights are turned on. See the
description on the operation of front
fog lights in section 1.4.
Rear fog light indicator
This indicator is on when the rear fog
lights are turned on. See the
description on the operation of rear
fog lights in section 1.4.
Cruise indicator (if cruise
control is available)
This indicator turns on when you
press the cruise control master button
(see “Cruise System” in section 1.6).
Cruise control main indicator (if
cruise control is available)
This indicator turns on when the
vehicle enters cruising status,
indicating that the vehicle is moving at
a steady speed.
SVS Indicator
If you press the Start button and turn
the power to ON, this indicator will
turn on for a few seconds. If this
indicator turns on at any other time or
keeps flashing, it indicates there is a
problem with the AT transmission or
engine management system. In this
case, have your vehicle serviced in a
BYD service station as soon as
possible.
Smart key system warning
indicator
If you press the Start button without a
smart key, this indicator will turn on for
a few seconds and the buzzer will
sound once; if you press the Start
button with a smart key nearby, this
indicator will not turn on and the
vehicle will power up.
When this indicator is on, if you take a
smart key into the vehicle in several
seconds, this indicator will go out. The
steering shaft lock is released and the
vehicle will power up.
If this indicator is flashing when
pressing the Start button, it indicates
the power level of the smart key
battery is low.
