5 Adjustments
5.3 Adjusting the Belt Tension at the Main Drive Motor
Danger!
Risk of death via electric shock!
Before opening the rear cover, disconnect the device from the mains supply and wait at lease one
minute until the power supply unit has discharged.

1. Unplug the printer from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the rear cover 2.2 on page 6.
3. Loosen screw (3) of the belt tension bracket (2) to adjust the tension of belt (5) between motor and print roller (4) .
4. Swing the belt tension bracket (2) so that the toothed belt (5) is tensioned tightly between motor and
print roller (4).
5. Tighten screw (3) in this position of the belt tension bracket .
6. Adjust the tension on the toothed belt (6) to the ribbon take up hub with belt tension bracket (7) in the same
manner.
7. Mount the rear cover.
