Nowattachtheconnectingcabletotheflatsleevebypressingtheclamps
together,usingsuitablecrimpingpliers(Fig.17).
Checkthattheconnectingcableisfirmlyattachedtotheflat
sleeve.
ThemainswitchismountedontheCaliraoperatingpanel.Ifyouarenotusing
aCaliraoperatingpanel,mountthemainswitchsomewhereinthecaravan
whereyoucanaccessiteasily.
ConnectthemainswitchtotheEVSinaccordancewiththeconnectiondiagram
(Figure20).

Connectthedeviceinaccordancewiththeconnectiondiagram(Figures19and
20)withthecouplingplug(Figure18)onthesideofthecaravan.Ensure
correctpolarityconnection.
Connectthepositivecable(red,2.5mm²)frombatteryIthroughcontact10of
thecouplingplugwithaflatsleevetotheinputoftheEVS(Figure20).
ThecablingofthetowingvehiclemustcomplywiththeregulationsoftheISO
11446:1995standard. Thesecablesmusthaveacross-sectionof2.5mm²,and
besecuredappropriatelytothiscross-section.
