  The motor of your Calpeda Water Pump might not be starting due to several reasons: * The power supply may be unsuitable. Ensure the mains frequency and voltage are correct. * The electrical connections could be incorrect. Make sure the power supply cable is properly connected and check the thermal overload protection setting. * The engine overload protection might have activated. Inspect the power supply and confirm the pump shaft turns freely. Also, verify the thermal overload protection setting. * The fuses may be blown or defective. Replace them and check the power supply and shaft. * The shaft could be blocked. Please refer to the “Blocked pump” instructions. * The motor may have failed. In this case, repair or replace it.

Replace the impeller, and if necessary, the pump casing. * Gases may be dissolved in the water. Perform opening and closing manoeuvres through the feeder gate. * The liquid being pumped might have excessive viscosity, making the pump unsuitable. * The direction of rotation could be incorrect. Invert the electrical connections in the terminal board.
