T ypes of Paper
For information on the types of paper the printer supports, refer to the Paper Reference Guide . This guide
identies supported plain paper , coated paper , photo paper (such as glossy photo paper), proong paper ,
CAD paper , and other types of paper . The Paper Reference Guide identies types and specications of paper ,
as well as information on printer driver settings and tips on handling paper .
Y ou can update paper information in the Paper Reference Guide , on the printer Control Panel , and in the
printer driver by downloading the latest version of the Media Conguration T ool from the imagePROGRAF
website.

• The media types with "†" marked in the product name are those specied as genuine Canon media.
For other media, please contact the respective media manufacturer after reading the instruction
manuals supplied with the media.
