  If your Canton Amp 5.1 is not automatically switching to the input [BT]: * The function BT Select [BTS] may be deactivated (Manual / [MAN]). Activate the function BT Select [BTS]. * Bluetooth® may be disabled on your (mobile) device. Activate Bluetooth® technology on your (mobile) device. * The Amp 5.1 may be connected to another (mobile) device. Disable Bluetooth® wireless technology on the other (mobile) device. * The (mobile) device may not be paired to the Amp 5.1. Pair your (mobile) device with the Amp 5.1.

  If playback from a mobile device starts automatically when your Canton Amp 5.1 is switched on, the automatic playback function AutoPlay [APL] is likely activated. If this function is unwanted, set AutoPlay [APL] to OFF.

  If pairing of Smart (wireless) speakers or a Smart subwoofer fails with your Canton Amp 5.1: * Ensure the slave speaker was disconnected from the mains for at least 30 seconds before pairing. * After turning on the power switch of the slave speaker, power it up by the remote control. * Always start the pairing process at the Amp 5.1 before connecting the (slave) speaker to the mains. * If the distance between (slave) speaker and Amp 5.1 (master device) is too high, increase the transmission power [TXP] according to this manual. Reduce the distance between Amp 5.1 and (slave) speaker. The maximum distance is approximately 10 m in the same room.

Why are two Canton wireless speakers playing the same channel?

  If two Smart (wireless) speakers play the same channel with your Canton Amp 5.1, it is likely that two (slave) speakers were assigned to the same channel during the pairing process. First use the test tone to check which (slave) speaker is playing the wrong channel. Reconnect this speaker as described in the chapter Speaker Config [SPC] / Speaker Mapping [SPM] and select the correct channel.

Why does my Canton Amp 5.1 keep changing inputs on its own?

  If your Canton Amp 5.1 unintentionally changes the input: * This can happen if the function Input Select [SEL] is set to [AUT] and the currently selected analogue input [AUX] has a long break in the playback (>10 seconds) and a signal is present at another input or the source device is turned on at the optical and coaxial input. Make sure that no signal is present at any other input during playback at the analogue input [AUX] or that a device is switched on at the optical and coaxial digital input. * This can happen when your (mobile) device plays system sounds, such as typing on the keyboard. Disable these system sounds on your (mobile) device.
