6.6 Deployment adaptor
The deployment adaptor allows the Borektrak2 probe to be directly connected to a variety of deployment devices.
The 5/8” thread screws directly into female 5/8” threads on the supplied steel cable and on the optional push rod
system.
With the deployment adaptor connected to the selected deployment device, the adaptor can be connected to the
Boretrak2 probe before commencing a survey. Retract the sprung brass cuff to reveal the quick release connection
pin.
To connect the deployment adaptor to the probe, hold the two at 90° angles. Push the quick release pin into the
hole in the probe. Now straighten the probe so it is in line with the deployment adaptor.
