BRx7 User Manual
The Atlas system delivers world‐wide cenmeter‐level correcon data over
L‐band communicaon satellites. BRx7 users can experience sub‐decimeter
posioning performance anywhere on earth, without the need to be near
a GNSS or communicaon infrastructure.
With Atlas, the posioning accuracy does not degrade as a funcon of
distance to a base staon, as the data content is not composed of a single
base staon’s informaon, but an enre network’s informaon.
Atlas L‐band is Hemisphere’s industry leading correcon service, which
can be added to the BRx7 as a subscripon. Atlas L‐band has the following
benets:
• Posioning accuracy ‐ Compeve posioning accuracies down to
4cm RMS in certain applicaons.
• Posioning sustainability ‐ Cung edge posion quality maintenance
in the absence of correcon signals, using Hemisphere’s patented
technology.
• Scalable service levels ‐ Capable of providing virtually any accuracy,
precision, and repeatability level in the 4cm to 50cm range.
• Convergence me ‐ Industry‐leading convergence mes of 10‐40
minutes.
• Global Ionospheric Model ‐ Real‐me ionospheric acvity and data
is sent to the receiver and allows Atlas‐capable devices to adjust
accordingly, providing excellent convergence performance.
