7.3. Charging the battery
Read and observe all charging instructions and safety warnings carefully.
Failure to comply with the following warnings may result in death or severe injuries.
► Before charging
• Regularly inspect the charging socket and charger for damage. Never charge the
battery, or use the e-bike, when you suspect it to be damaged or broken.
• Only use the original e-bike charger. Make sure the power socket and plug are
undamaged and dry before connecting and charging the battery.

WARNINGS
• The charger can only be used to charge the batteries specically designed for this
e-bike range; using it to charge other batteries may result in physical injuries or even
death.
• Be sure to hold the power plug steady instead of holding the cord when connecting
or disconnecting from the electrical outlet. Failure to do so may damage the cord and/
or plug and cause an electric shock or a re.
