Using the microUSB
Connecting to a Computer
You can use the mini-USB cable (HA-N81USBC) to connect the Handheld Terminal
to a computer for USB data communication. This also allows you to charge the battery
pack installed in the IT-G500 using power supplied from the computer.

Important!
The micro USB port on the Handheld Terminal cannot be used while the terminal
is set in a cradle.
Always ensure that the cap is tted onto any unused port. Using the Handheld
Terminal with a port uncovered could cause a malfunction.
The power supplied via the USB cable is limited to 500 mA, so in some situations
the battery pack may not be charged and the level of charge may fall when the
Handheld Terminal is switched on, depending on how the terminal is used.
