To view the current Currency Conversion Mode rates
In the Currency Conversion Mode, select the currency whose rate you want to
check, and then press
EDIT then
L
to display the rate.
To perform a currency conversion
Example
How many euros (
)are $50 (dollars)?
1. Enter the Currency Conversion Mode.
2. Press
1 to select 1USD
H
–
J
.
3. Enter 5 0.
4. Press J to convert from dollars to euros.
• The converted value appears on the display.
• Pressing H converts from euros to dollars.
To change the currency name and rate
Example 1
To specify an exchange rate of
1 (euro) = £1.63(GBP)
1. Enter the Currency Conversion Mode.
2. Press 3 to select C1

3. Press
EDIT.
4. Input
.
5. Press J as many times as necessary to move the cursor to C2 and then input
G B P.
• You can input up to five characters for a currency name.
6. Use the
L
key to move the cursor to the RATE input item.
7. Enter 1 . 6 3.
• If you make a mistake while inputting the value, press C to clear it, and then
re-input.
8. Press
ENTER.
• This stores the input value.
