Open the front cover (see chapter 6.A OPENING THE COVER page 31)
Turn the blade by hand
until the receptacle (R) is
in line with the locking
key (V).
Note : motors are
featuring a breaking
system which makes the
rotation of the blades
difficult. It is normal to
feel some resistance
when trying to rotate the
blades by hand.
Unlock the screw (V7),
move up the locking key (V)
until the blades’s axis is
locked.
Lock the screw (V7).
With on hand move down
the handle to get the
blade in down position.
With your other hand,
unlock the screw (V8).
Note : The right blade
screw has reverse
threads, while the left
blade is a regular thread.
Pull the key to you to
unlock those screws !
With one hand, hold the
blade in place so it doesn’t
fall down and remove the
screw (V8)
Hold the flange in place
with your finger to avoid it
falling down.
Remove the flange and
the blade.
Clean the contact surface
of the replacement blade
and of the locking collar.
Clean also the collar of
the blade hub.
Dust accumulation in
those places can generate
vibrations and bad cuts.
