MAINTENANCE OF THE BAG SEAL CUFF AND GAUGE:
Periodic inspection of the bag seal cuff for cracks or tears is necessary. Replacement of the
cuff is recommended if any wear, tears or thinning is noticed.
The pressure gauge should for the bag seal cuff should be kept in good working order. If the
gauge does not read pressure, remove and replace it as soon as possible to prevent cuff
damage.
MAINTENANCE OF POWERED LIVE ROLLER BAG DISCHARGE CONVEYORS:
Check oil levels in gearboxes once a year
Check LRC once a year and remove slack in the chains as required.
Grease bearings once a week or depending on usage.
Grease Vibrators 1-2 shots per month – they are sealed so over greasing will
damage the vibrators.
Check the chain once a year. Adjust as needed.
GEAR BOXES OF CONVEYING SYSTEM
Check oil levels once a year.
Change oil every 2 years.
BULK BAG INFLATOR / EXHAUST SYSTEM
Check plungers of the 3-way valves once a year for wear
Check and clean air filter once a month OF LPB
