GETTING STARTED
Preparing CD42-Tx transmi ers is done in two stages: Confi guring
dip switches (when applicable) and installing ba eries. Both are
accomplished by removing the end cap and ba ery carousel (T0, T1,
T1A, and T2).

Confi guring T0 TransmiƩ er
Unscrew and
remove end cap.
Remove ba ery carousel to access
dip switches.
WARNING
Always use cau on when opening any CDI transmi er that has been in a
pressurized environment. It is possible for pressurized liquid or gas to leak
into a transmi er and remain there even aŌ er the transmiƩ er has been
removed from the pipeline. Always point the transmi er away from yourself
or others when opening the antenna or ba ery caps.
