GETTING STARTED ͳ CD42ͳT4/T4A/T4VHP
Load two (2) N-Cell alkaline ba eries,
nega ve (-) end fi rst,
posi ve (+) end UP.
Inspect cap and O-ring before replacing.
Ensure O-ring is serviceable. A bri le and/or deformed O-ring may not
properly seal. Lubricate O-ring with a light coa ng of petroleum jelly
if dry.
Ensure threads are clean and free of ruptures, dents, and other
damage.
Replace cap. Your CD42-T4 is now ac ve.

CD42-T4 Op onal Pressure Switch (SWX) Kit
Retrofi ng your T4 with an SWX kit is a simple ma er of removing
exis ng ba ery cap and replacing with a confi gured SWX.
NOTE: The SWX merely ac vates a transmi er at a factory-
programmed pipeline pressure. Transmi er behavior (delay-ON
mes, custom pulse pa erns, constant-ON transmission, and other
features) remain unaff ected by SWX installa on.
