Cleaning your CellAir® Gecko
Hypoxicator
Before each cleaning and disinfection, switch off the system and discon-
nect the mains plug. The outside of the unit can be damp wiped with warm
water using a soft cloth. Make sure no liquid enters the unit through the
housing slots.
Pulse oximeter
Wipe the surfaces, sensor and contact surfaces with a soft cloth moistened
with a mild soap solution. Klenzyme is recommended as a cleaning agent.
To disinfect the sensor, wipe off the sensor and contact surfaces with 70%
isopropyl alcohol.
Breathing tube
Clean the hose with mild soapy water and rinse it with plenty of clean
water. Then hang it up to dry. The hose may only be cleaned with cold or
lukewarm water.
To ensure safe use and full performance of your hypoxicator, the system
should be serviced regularly.
