Variables Chart
e Variables Chart displays each user-adjustable variable, its menu number, a brief description, the default setting, the
minimum and maximum values that can be set, and a recommended setting (if applicable) for burning anthracite or
bituminous. Factory deafult settings are for bituminous coal.
NOTE: Menu items not shown are either not adjustable or should not be changed without consulting your Central Boiler dealer.

1 WATER TEMP DIFFERENTIAL
Denes the range from the Water Temperature Setpoint in
which the system can idle.

3 PURGE STAGE 1 DURATION (MINUTES)
Sets how long the Purge Stage 1 function lasts before
moving to Stage 2. During this time, over air will be on and
under air will follow 30 seconds later.

4 PURGE STAGE 2 DURATION (MINUTES)
Sets how long the Purge function will continue to run before
shutting o (NOTE: the purge function is terminated when
the door is opened).

5 PURGE OVER AIR SETTING
Sets the over air opening height as a percentage of full travel
during both stages of the Purge function.

6 IGNITION ASSIST DURATION (MINUTES)
Sets how long the Ignition Assist mode will run when the
IGNITION ASSIST button is pressed. The function terminates
when the RESET button is pressed.

7 IGNITION ASSIST UNDER AIR SETTING
Sets the under air opening height as a percentage of full
travel when the IGNITION ASSIST button is pressed.

Sets the over air opening height as a percentage of full travel
when the IGNITION ASSIST button is pressed.

9 RESET CYCLE UNDER AIR START SETTING
Under air opening starting height as a percentage of full
travel when the RESET button is pressed.

10 STANDARD RUN MODE UNDER AIR SETTING
Under air opening nishing/running height as a percentage
of full travel when the RESET function has nished.

11 RESET CYCLE UNDER AIR DURATION (MINUTES)
Time it takes for the under air actuator to go from START
PERCENT to MAX PERCENT when the RESET button has been
pressed.

12 STANDARD RUN MODE UNDER AIR MINIMUM
The under air actuator height as a percentage of full travel
when the unit is in Idle mode. Helpful in maintaining a
slight draft draft during long periods of downtime to keep
coals glowing. (NOTE: this variable should only be adjusted
after you have become familiar with the outdoor furnace.
Adjusting too high will result in overheating (high limit trip).
