Adjustment

Handle Removal and Adjustment

Adjust handle position by removing knob and loosening wing nut.

Bending Die Adjustment and Removal

Adjust segmented upper die fingers for box/pan forming or remove unused ones.

Removal and Installation of Upper Cutting Blade

Remove hex screws (#56) from upper cutting blade (#23) to remove it.

Adjustment of Upper Blade

Adjust upper blade by placing thin material between upper and lower blades for alignment testing.

Removal and Installation of Lower Blade

Remove hex screws (#59) from lower cutting blade (#23) for removal.

Adjustment of Lower Cutting Blade

Adjust lower cutting blade using adjustment screws (#61) to set gap between blades.

Operation

Shearing

Scribe mark, position material between blades against guide, then rotate handle to cut.

Angle Bending

Mark workpiece, place material above moving cutter plate, align mark with upper die edge, then bend.

Radius Bending

Form cylinders and cones using a series of small, closely spaced bends.

Pan Forming

Form pans by notching corners, bending sides to 90 degrees, and adjusting for lip height.

Rolling

Move cover, drop back pressing roll, insert material, tighten bolt, and crank handle.

Wire Rolling

Use appropriate groove in upper pressing roll for wire gauge and follow rolling procedures.

Pressing

Slide press plate brackets into receiver holes, center workpiece, and rotate handle to press.
