What to do if my Central Pneumatic Power Tool has severe air leakage?
    • D
      Dr. Richard McdonaldAug 2, 2025
If your Central Pneumatic Power Tool has severe air leakage (note that slight air leakage can be normal, especially on older models), here's what you should check: * **Cross-threaded housing components:** Look for incorrect alignment and uneven gaps. If cross-threading is present, disassemble the unit and replace any damaged parts before using it again. * **Loose housing:** Tighten the housing assembly. If you can't tighten the housing properly, the internal parts might be misaligned. * **Damaged valve or housing:** Replace any damaged components. * **Dirty, worn, or damaged valve:** Clean or replace the valve assembly.

Why is the Central Pneumatic 65902 Power Tool output decreased?
    • S
      Sonya DavidAug 16, 2025
There are several reasons why the output of your Central Pneumatic Power Tool might be decreased: 1. **Insufficient air pressure or airflow:** Check for loose connections and ensure that the air supply provides enough airflow (CFM) at the required pressure (PSI) to the air inlet. Avoid exceeding the maximum air pressure. 2. **Loose air fittings:** Tighten all air fittings. 3. **Contaminated mechanism:** Have a qualified technician clean and lubricate the mechanism and clean the air filter.
