INSPECTION.
Since
exhaust
systems
of
this
2.
With
vacuum
cleaner
operating,
all
joints
type
are
subject
to
burning,
cracking
and
general
in
the
exhaust
system
may
be
checked
manually
by
deterioration
from
alternate
thermal
stresses
and
feel,
or
by
using
a
soap
and
water
solution
and
vibrations,
inspection
is
important
and
should
be
watching
for
bubbles.
All
joints
should
be
free
of
accomplished
every
100
hours
of
operation.
Also,
a
air
leaks.
thorough
inspection
of
the engine
exhaust
system
should
be
made
to
detect
cracks
causing
leaks
which
NOTE
could
result
in
loss
of
engine
power.
To
inspect
the
engine
exhaust
system,
proceed
as
follows:
Begining
with
aircraft
serials
18800833
a.
Remove
engine
cowling
as
required
so
that
ALL
the
ball
joint
should
be
inspected
in
ac-
surfaces
of
the
exhaust
assemblies
can
be
visually
cordance
with
Cessna
Single
Engine
inspected.

NOTE

EXTREME
WEATHER
MAINTENANCE.
Especially
check
the
areas
adjacent
to
welds

to

joints.
Look
for gas
deposits
in
sur-
rounding
area,
indicating
that
exhaust
gases
