Step Description Illustration
6.1 Look down into facemask and check the HUD pressure lights are illuminated.
Four green lights means 300 to 270 bar (operational).
Three green lights means 270 to 150 bar.

Check the cylinder pressure on the control module LCD screen.
Ï
Over 250 bar the BA is operational.
Ï
Under 250 bar change the cylinder to a full one.
Two green lights mean insufficient air pressure. Change the cylinder for a
full one.
One yellow or red light means insufficient air pressure. Change the cylinder
for a full one.
7 Finalise donning.
7.1 Continue to fit the flash hood from Step 4 of the
Donning The Flash Hood procedure.
7.2 Fit the helmet.
7.3 Remove, complete and hand the tally tag to the
BA Control/Entry Officer.
7.4 Fit gloves.
